Marble Madness, which appeared in 1984 from Atari, is an isometric racing-puzzle game in which you roll a marble through six difficult courses of obstacles before time expires. Using the accuracy trackball and one-button control, players maneuver ramps, tiny bridges, and aggressive spheres with speed and finesse in attempts to achieve high scores.

The cabinet also features highly coloured side art of massive marbles careening across geometric terrain in pale blues and pinks. The rampaging control panel features a center trackball and a "Start" button under a stylized bezel. At the top of the screen, there's a backlit "MARBLE MADNESS" marquee and a speaker that produces echoing chimes.
